Well for it's intended purpose yes, but it's stainless steel so it will heat up if you put it on that induction coil so you could probably do something stupid with it and get an ambulance ride out of it.

It will not necessarily heat up. Many types of stainless steel are not magnetic, and won't work on an induction stove/cooker. Always test the bottom of any stainless pot you're buying to make sure a magnet adheres.

I was making a joke but technically even nonmagnetic Austenitic stainless like 304 or 316 is slightly magnetic and should heat up a little bit. Perhaps not enough to be useful.

I just looked it up and it's 304 so it won't heat up for crap on that cooktop. Booo....
