Is this a great price on a AAA-style flashlight?

I have a Nitecore and love it. It was $24 I think for the large, full body aluminum one using 4xAA's. So that's why I'm wondering on price. Maybe I paid more and I'm making up the $24, so looking for help Smilie

I'd love to try a Nitecore, i have so many Chinese knockoffs and they are nice....when they work. Just seems they all eventually get quirky, where need to shake it to work right or give it a little tap here or there...just once I'd like to compare to the real deal flashlights

HA, this it totally me. I get suckered into just about every flashlight deal and they all seem to have a different quirk.

Same same. Many many china knock offs here too, 502b is my favorite "don't care about it" pocket light because I can get them for around $5 shipped, when there's a great deal and I use old dead laptops' 18650's to power them. The Nightcore's are not cheap china knock offs and I would be very mad at myself if I lost mine. I've currently got 2 of them and love them. The build quality is much better, no cheap switches, no cheap LED. The strobe is faster than any other flashlight I own (good or bad, you decide), the low is so crazy low I can't tell it's on in the day light, I have to cup my hand around it like a lighter on a windy day just to see if it's on.
If you are thinking of buying one of these as a gift for someone not familiar with 18650 batteries I recommend you wait and watch for a deal on an MH10 or MH20 or similar light. These models have a built in micro USB plug (same as most current smart phones) to charge them. This will save them/you the $15+ to get a decent battery charger that works with 18650's. FYI, Nightcore makes some of the best of these also: https://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_s...re+charger
