My kids love this. Upgrading however might be tough. Not high quality on the plastics, any more force would require more headache then it's worth.

These are super easy to convert to higher voltage if u decide it needs a little more power. I YouTube'd how and had it done 30 mins later.

Also, with the green 6 volt from Wal-Mart that was posted a while back, I found that the wheels would occasianly spin out on my son, not enough traction. I thought of putting a few screws in the plastic wheels, but didn't want the hardwoods getting scratched up. Ending up finding a old bicycle tire, cut the treads off and wrapped around the quads wheels then screwed them in in between the treads so the screw wouldn't hit ground first. A strong glue also would have worked.

Also that deal was 40 i believe, so at 30 id call this deal a no brainer. Plus dory!!!!

It looks like a rebadged version of the dozens of 6V, 1 wheel drive, entry level quads out there. It doesn't get much more low budget than this, but you aren't out a ton if your kid hates it.

Worth the deal for 2 yr olds. Great in solid surfaces. Easy to drive. It just spins in the grass due to weight and no traction.

Is there a way to add a reverse switch? I feel bad when I see my daughter have to get off and turn the thing around after she runs into something.
