Are you sure it's $250 for new lines? I only see $100 in the promotion details.

The picture I attached has the two options shown on the upper right. Also, clicking through for your provider, mine was Verizon, showed the two options.

Okay, I will correct the heading. $250 for Verizon, $100 either way for Sprint and BOGO for AT&T.

Ahh, ok. I was looking at AT&T. Basically no deal for AT&T because that's the same deal you have been able to get through AT&T for several months. You have to have DirecTV to get the BOGO, so you should probably mention that as well.

Yeah, that is a bit more of a raw deal with AT&T. Target wasn't real clear when they advertised the $100 gift card, that it wasn't all carriers. Thanks for bringing that to my attention. Seems like all the downvoters are also with AT&T. Oh well, I tried.

Nah easy mistake to make. I didn't figure it out either and was wondering why it didn't show $100 for AT&T. You're right, Target says $100 and doesn't mention which carriers which is pretty stupid. Still a good deal for new Verizon customers or if you need to add a line. I'm waiting for that deal again on AT&T or a hot deal on the iphone 6s. Going to get a 32GB regular size one and hope I can trade it in to AT&T for $650 credit when the new ones come out. If they don't do the trade-in deal again, I'll wait until black friday and hopefully score a $200 gift card somewhere on a new one then and sell the old one on ebay or craigslist.

Can I buy the phone, get the gift card, pay it off, cancel the service, and keep the phone and the 250$ GC?

Will they not ask for the device or the gift card back? Is there a certain time period before I could cancel?

Follow below steps:
1. If you are existing Verizon customer - add a line. If you are new customer - open a new accounts - opening a new account involves a hard credit enquiry

2. After activation suspend the line for 14 days

3. Port out the line on 15th Day
