Thanks OP and repped. Smilie

At this price point and looking at reviews on places like YouTube, in for 2 pair. Worst is I have to send them back, but at $20 definitely worth the shot. Many Youtube reviews were stating them at $90-$150 their price at the time.

As always..buy first then try them out..especially with great Amazon customer service .. can't go wrong. Smilie

Meh, reviews are not so hot. At this price range I'd rather spend $9 dollars more for the Superlux HD668B.

These look to be identical in spec. and physical appearance to the Marantz MPH-2 that were going on sale for about $40 from Guitar Center/Musician's Friend awhile back. I bought a pair from one of those deals and while unimpressed compared to my other headphones (ATH-M50X & Senn. Momentum...soon to add a pair of ATH-990Z Art Monitors if I'm lucky enough that they ship) or others that I have a lot of experience with (mostly studio monitors like the Sony MDR-7506, MDR-V6, & ATH-M40X, amongst others), they were a solid deal for $40 and an absolutely killer deal for this price!

They aren't super well defined (like most of the studio monitors mentioned above), but they have pretty solid bass and can be EQ'd to provide more than adequate sound to satisfy most folks (if you're not sure whether or not you fit in this category...then I can assure you that you are). I won't be found using them, but for this price I might just spring for a pair for my mother (who is hard of hearing and needs phones for various tasks).

All depends on where you look, but none the less, at $20 price point, worth a listen. Some very nice sound can be had for very cheap.

I purchased some Bose a year or so ago on a front page deal here for like $89. Never cared for Bose because you typically pay a lot of money for bleh sound. Not even close as to $$ to sound quality.

To each his own when it comes to many things and headphones are certainly on of those things.

And, as I clearly stated, if I do not like them, they go right back. Amazon has excellent customer service, one of a very few I can say that about these days. I'll easily pay a few extra dollars via Amazon, because I know if anything does go wrong, they take very good care of me. I do an easy 200+ orders (that's orders, many more items in an order) per year over the last couple of years..and continue to do more (currently at 127 orders in last 6 months) all due to Amazon customer service. Rarely ever a problem, but if there is, they take immediate care of the situation. Smilie

You do free returns to Amazon when something works fine and is not broken but you don't like it?

If it works fine and not broken, why would I return it? I read several of the reviews on Amazon and looked at YouTube reviews as well.

The reviews on Amazon basically state some bad quality as to the headset itself, not regarding sound quality.

So IF I was to return them, it would be for a valid reason. Smilie

Most likely not going to be broken out of the box, just going to have poor SQ and build and then break a month or two later. Not sure how Amazon helps with any of that.
