YRMV: Washington Post Online (Amazon Prime) only $19 per YEAR

6 months ago many on SD got a FREE 6-mo of Washington Post online,
which will expire end of July for most of us.
https://slickdeals.net/f/9699796-amazon-prime-members-6-months-free-washington-post
renewal beyond July is normally $4/mo billing monthly ($52/yr) to your prime,
HOWEVER if you email washington post support: help@washpost.com
(use your same amazon email account address)
they will convert your expiring free offer from $4/mo to $19/year
as per a recent and now expired groupon offer.

i believe it's very important everyone support the "real" news financially
and at only $19/yr this is the cheapest way to do so.
officially: after your year is up, the full retail $10/mo rate will kick in,
however I'm sure by mid'2018 there will be plenty of other offers.

subscription still includes unlimited digital access to the national
and international news coverage to our website and Blue App.

It's depressing that people are so brainwashed that they think the Washington Post has a "poor merchant reputation" or is "not a good product". They're one of the most well respected media outlets in the country and have been for decades. Anyone with critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze reporting, regardless of political affiliation, knows this.

OP, thanks for the post.

Have you read it recently? They've gone hard left. Read the stories with a critical eye and you'll see the obvious bias.

Fake "News" in almost every article.

And no, I'm not "brainwashed." Those who insist the Washington Post is "reputable" are brainwashed. WaPo is still trying to live off their Watergate reputation, but that's long gone. The only people who "respect" WaPo are those who like to be told what they want to hear.

Not sure how anyone can insist the Post is "real news" but it's your money to do with as you wish....

I've noticed over the last year that my friends from both sides of the political spectrum tend to post more links to WaPo than any other news source; they've just got the best reporting available. Well worth supporting.

Good deal. The Washington Post's reporting is some of the most accurate and in-depth available.
All news agencies lean at least a little to one side or the other in how they phrase things, but the important thing whether or not that their facts are accurate and that their reporting isn't misleading. In this case, they report truth and cite sources, or explain their reasoning when they (rarely) grant anonymity. Just because you don't like the facts being reported doesn't make something "fake news."
