im looking for a 34 inch ultrawide just for work. No gaming, no video editing. Just boring corporate work, browsing the internet, and to make my home office look sexy. Is this a good monitor for that?

Costco is 58, this is 60. Costco has no DisplayPort only two HDMIs.

Also, the 58 doesn't have freesync I believe.

Ummm, I'm scratching my head as to why this isn't thumbed up a ton and a FP deal? The 2016 model during black Friday last year had tons of thumbs up (for $250 https://slickdeals.net/f/9429687-34-lg-34um57-ips-ultrawide-led-gaming-monitor-250-free-shipping?src=SiteSearch). This is the newer model too...

Local Costco has this for $269. Pretty sure it's the same model.

You can get 1080p 27" for less than $150.

This is just 33% larger in area but the same height, but about 75% more in price.

I think $200 is the perfect price for this but it's probably not going to happen. I did get my 29" ultra-wide for $160 and I thought that was super reasonable.

When last year it was $250, I thought the deal would appear over and over again. It never ever did. So, maybe this is a great deal that you'll have to wait for until black friday for.

I bought 2 34 inch widescreen from Costco, and I use it only for work. I do a lot of spreadsheets so 2 of these is perfect for me. I LOVE THESE Suckers. Here is the one I got from costco. https://www.costco.com/LG-34UM61-...41675.html

Attached a picture for ya.

If I purchase this monitor can I use the DP for PC and HDMI for PS4 at the same time? I've tried looking and people only talk about the software from LG that splits your PC into sections but nothing about picture in picture.

Can one easily notice a difference between the 1080 and the 1440 resolution if used primarily for browsing and office use (i.e., Excel)? Wondering if the greater resolution warrants the incremental cost for such use.
