I believe this is the newest model, WiFi/BT and is 900w, vs 800w like the first gen W/B model... The only thing it's going to equate to, however, is slightly faster time to temp and should be able to maintain a slightly larger quantity of water, although that can be created increased with any device by using s cooler.

Just made 150° cold brew coffee with mine yesterday with the recipe they just shared on social media. I'm no coffee snob, or even regular drinker, but it tastes better than the cold brew I made with the Takeya pot, was a lot faster, filtered better, and I made 4x as much in one go.

These things are totally worth the $99/129, coming from a guy who could only microwave a year ago. Barely use the microwave anymore, and I'm eating better too.

Depending what you're doing, you might end up with two. I have a Joule and Anova (3 between family) and it's nice if I want corn on the cob and a steak, or different meat rarity for family, at the same time. I'd grab a wifi for $129 if you think you're going to use it as a main method of cooking. Watch some chef steps or sous vide everything videos on YouTube if you're new, then go from there.

I grabbed it too. I'm getting too fat by eating oily food. May be this will help me in eating healthy and delicious food. Also bought Rubbermaid 12 container that goes with it, it was on prime day deal as well.

Thanks for the info on the youtube videos.... I grabbed the older version over the weekend for $109, just got it yesterday. Looking forward to making some great food for the family.

I got this for $99 two years ago. Great product, worth the price, but sorry, not slick.
This is the newer model

Yes, I use cheap discount store Ziploc bags too and they work fine. One did break once which caused aa bit of a mess. I have been using the discount store frezzer bags which are a bit thicker and those work well. I have a food saver too, buy its just more convenient to use normal bags and just use the air displacement method to get rid of the air. Same results. I have the same model and love it. Use it almost everyday. Come home stick something in, go to the gym, come back and make a side and the pprotein is done and perfectly cooked.

Just bought the older version last night for $99 because this wasn't on sale yet. Is it worth returning for $10 and then buying this version?
