Amazon has 30% off multi-use coupon on garden of life products. I was on the lookout for meal-replacement and this is a really good price.

It is a good price, I usually get mine from ebay for $36. Does it deduct the 30% after you subscribe?

I'm very picky about protein, and this is one of my favorites as far as taste. I always describe it as "dusty granola". But it's much better than that sickly sweet chemical taste most of them have.

This is the best protein powder around in my awesome opinion. I've been using it for years after trying a bunch of others that were just nasty. Lots of good stuff for ya tummy!

I always go with the "lightly sweetend" flavor, which is essentially plain. I blend it with various fruits which gives it a flavor that I like way more. I know their vanilla is very popular though if that's your preference.

Do they have any with preservatives?

I know organic foods and turning our backs on the past 150 years of scientific breakthrough is the hot fad, but I can imagine how quickly this would break down.

Edit: reading some reviews... this is such a scam product. In the Q&A someone asked for a breakdown of the plant proteins and company replies to read the description. I can guarantee this is 99.5% pea and rice protein.
Of the highest organic quality I'm sure...but still the cheapest and crappiest proteins.

Last Slickdeal was $12. Debating whether it is worth double that. Does this rarely go on sale?

You're mistaken about several things. It's not a "scam product" for starters. Garden of Life has been around for a long time and is well known for quality ingredients. I've used several of their products over the past ten years or so and I've always been satisfied with their products. Stop by a good health food store that's run by people who know their shit and ask them what they think. I've done exactly that several times and Garden of Life is one of the brands that they frequently recommend over similar products. I've also spent literally hundreds of hours over the years researching supplements because my quality of life depends on making sure I'm consuming products that actually do what they're supposed to do. But when it comes down to it, education and experience are poor substitutes for a handful of random Amazon reviews. I think Bezos said that.

I don't use whey protein, so if I'm looking for a plant based protein what sources would you recommend other than pea and rice protein? I use vega one and that also contains hemp protein.

Showing $37.99 for me and I don't see a coupon and advice would be greatly appreciated.
