The Prime day TCL deals are live now. Not sure if these are great deals but seems to be the best prices right now. I got a 32 inch TV for my dad. Couldn't find anything cheaper elsewhere even though I didn't want a smart TV.

The listing says that the TVs 40" - 49" are actually 1080p. a quick google search confirms that as well. i bought the 49" for my dad. been looking for this price point for a while on this size TV. thanks!

The ads says there are non-roku models for cheaper, such as 32 inches for $99. But I couldn't find it.

For 28 and 32, it would not matter I guess

19" is the highest 720p resolution should go.

This is an interesting statement. While I bought a new 4K TV last year, and I even had Directv upgrade my receiver to 4K, I have been incredibly disappointed as there is almost nothing broadcast in 4K. Just documentaries, etc. Sometimes, my old 1080p TV looks as good as the new 4K TV, so I dunno. As for 720p, I think some people really don't have to have the latest tech, and are quite happy watching in 720p. So in that vein, I think some people are very much in the market for a 720p TV. If you're old like me, and all you had as a child was a B&W TV that only received THREE channels while you had to hold onto the rabbit ears to watch to keep the screen from "rolling", then a 720p would have been like manna from heaven. If you're not old, you have probably never watched a B&W TV, nor even understand what "rolling" means. Big Grin

HA, same here. Three channels only if weather was good. I remember having to fine tune the channel with the dial on the knob to change channels too.

They also have the 4k 49" for 350 as their standard price, cheaper then the Amazon 1080 49" at 449. Pretty not slick deals OP.
