Menard's is featuring a flash sale today for a Stanley 123 pc Black Chrome Socket Set 50% off. On sale for $24.94 with either free shipping to store or you can get it shipped to you. Shipping for me was only $6.50. The black chrome is a really cool color and the price is amazing. Amazon has them for $71.80 with free shipping. Closest sale price I can find is Walmart for $45.68. The information off Menard's website is below.

The Stanley® 123 pc Black Chrome six-point socket set exceeds ANSI specifications. Includes high-torque ratchets with highly visible etching on the sockets, a drive extension bar, drive spark plug sockets, hex keys, a blow-molded case, specialty bits and more.

Black chrome finish for anti-corrosion protection and attractive appearance
Laser-etched markings for size visibility
Chrome vanadium forged body for torque, strength and durability
Quick release switch and reversible mechanism for easy operation

Processing fee is standard for any online Menards order.
Even stuff in stock gets a processing fee, for the convenience of them taking it from the shelf to make you walk all the way to the back to pick it up and wait while they try to find where they misplaced it.
It's bowlshirt.

I kinda wish they would show the case they come in.. If they are the type that the tools "snap" into place this would be an instant purchase for me (a nice kit to keep in the truck) otherwise its just a maybe...

It's a black plastic case that the sockets snap into (if it's the same as the Walmart one).

I bought this a few months ago (full price) to change a thermostat and I love it.

edit: typo

Special order from any store around me. Not really sure I want to bother, but if the case is as described it is very tempting.

Yep. So your total price if you are unwilling or unable to drive to the store to buy it is about $36 (varies by location), which is still significantly less than the prices found at Amazon, eBay and Walmart.

Yeah, for $25 i would have bought it, nice spare set to have around, but $37, no thanks.
Wish Amazon would price match it (currently $56 there).

These are so different from impact sockets both in look and feel that this really isn't a justifiable criticism. I've used black sockets for years without ever getting them mixed up.
