Had this for over a year running 24x7. I run 8 hd cameras through blue iris software, plex server streaming 3 devices, and stopping commercials out of OTA recordings that it also records from the HDHomerun. This thing is rock solid!

It would be a heckuva lot more popular at $299, like the IBM ThinkServer TS140.

I guess you didn't read the part about the coupon code? Or the message on the website:
Doorbuster: $329 after using coupon code 329T30 in cart

Sorry dude. Should have mentioned the code in the title. Try putting in 329T30 at checkout. That should bring it down.

Looking for something somewhat energy efficient to do what you just said. Does anyone know how much electricity this sucks?

I'm with you. Been waiting for the TS150 to hit the same price points as the TS140s did (280s with coupons/ebay/etc)

329 + tax makes it harder to bite. I'm guessing there isn't a ton of improvements between v3 (like the ts140s) and the v5 aside from small amounts of efficiency

edit: yeah, not much difference it seems

Even though I bought one, I agree also. I think $250 would be an awesome price point, only because at $330 it is tempting to buy a refurbished older generation i5/i7 for cheaper.

being a 1225 it's 4 core/4 thread, so a refurb skylake i5 is definitely within reach at the $300 price point. It's shocking how many (presumably off lease/off the back of truck) optiplex 3050/5040/7040 can be had for so cheap and come with Win 10 pro/Dell warranty/skylake processors on ebay these days. $300ish will get an i5 easily, $500ish can get an i7.

That said, I'd 100% bite if this t30 deal was 280 or less and no tax. Sadly all these dell deals will be taxed, so it's a bit of a non starter for me. I'm also waiting for their pentium/i3 t30 deal to hit the 180s or so. I think I've seen a few hover around 200, but again tax is the biggest holdup for me.

The Pentium version of T30 was on sale about a month ago for $179, I think you might miss that one.

I have a Lenovo TS140 and after upgrading the PSU to 600W, I put in a GTX 1070. Anyone know if the same thing is possible with this?
