USE COUPON CODE: 17FLANNP

This code also works for other flashlight brands in this collection: https://www.banggood.com/collecti...utmid=1950.

Choose from the following color temperatures, example image attached:
  • 1A (cool white - 6500K)
  • 3D (neutral white - 4900K)
  • 5A (warm neutral - 4100K)

For extra/other batteries I highly recommend a LG HG2 [liionwholesale.com], or Sony VTC6 [liionwholesale.com]. Links on batteries are from a reputable seller who I have purchased from before, verified cell authenticity and good prices.I have used all of these linked items except the LG HG2 and they are all worth the money.

Flashlight ONLY price appears to have dropped slightly to $18.59, I don't think any coupon is needed: https://www.banggood.com/BLF-A6-X...91823.html

The older collection of sale items is still up on https://www.banggood.com/collecti...le-details and the old coupon code is listed on that page

Info about this light at CandlePowerForums [urlhasbeenblocked]
(Using URL shortener because SD breaks CPF links)

For reference:
Firmware and UI (user interface) information
(I don't think the BLF A6 and Astrolux S1 flashlights come with instructions for the complex UI - user interface.)

Most people link to this TEXT explaining the firmware and the UI.
BLF EE A6 firmware
http://toykeeper.net/torches/blf-...blf-a6.txt

Not many people link to this GRAPHIC representation of the UI.
http://toykeeper.net/torches/blf-...-a6-ui.png

The above and more info in this directory, including BLF making the firmware source code public to all - to comment and improve on. If you don't like the UI or the firmware, you're welcome to improve it.
Index of /torches/blf-a6/final
http://toykeeper.net/torches/blf-a6/final/

(Note: I prefer the above links to mirrors or other sources - they are from the original source, from the site of BLF member Toykeeper, who was instrumental in designing the firmware and UI for the A6.)

Decent Youtube video (not mine) that explained all the modes and settings. Feel free to watch the begging its kinda useful and snarky.

Great flashlight. Only problem is that you won't receive it until 4-6 weeks. Pay the extra money for faster delivery.

I agree, I first found it here on Slickdeals and now I own two of them with extra batteries and accessories. I carry one every day.

This is a fantastic price for this flashlight and of over 30 flashlights in my collection this is the one I use every single day and carry around in my pocket.
The lanyard never lasts but it clips just fine on my pocket.
I own several of them, all of them being the 5A 4000K version and they are durable, my first one died after a year but I had dropped it dozens of times onto concrete with some falls being over 10 feet and I was able to successfully repair it and have it as a spare.
Moonlight mode is wonderful for walking on the house in the middle of the night and the one medium mode gives around 100 lumens and with a 3000mah battery you can run it on that mode for days.
This is totally worth that price.

I picked up the WowTac/Atactical A1S in neutral as an edc carry light that I'm not worried about getting beat up. Do you think the A6, would be a better EDC or just simply comparable?

Is it that much better than a Convoy S2?

Which S2? There is a reddit thread if you google both names. I have the S2+ with the 2.8A and this still is brighter, but I don't know that I've ever realistically needed more than my S2+. Build quality seems to go to convoy.

Would the Sanyo NCR18650GA work well with this or is the 10A max discharging current too low?

It does work and I run mine with a lower amp Panasonic, but you'll never get the blinding 1600 lumens, for that you need a Samsung or Sony vtc5. Please don't buy 18650 on eBay, you'll burn your house down or worse your face. Liionwholesale is a legit seller referenced above

The lumens on this model are over rated...no way this is 1600 lumens.
