I have the Rexing and its been a good unit. Ran a hard power cable down thru A pillar and bought a tap in fuse connector to power it.

So are they identical units other than one having the additional rear camera? I'm trying to figure out why ones reviews are so much better the the other if they're identical units.

depends your preference... if you want better quality, X2. If you want to be more discrete, V1.

I assumed you bought a add-a-fuse holder? Can I ask you a question?

The max amperage of the holder I am looking is 10A. Does it mean both the fuse you removed from the fuse box AND the fuse for the dash cam cannot exceed 10A? Or the 10A is for the dash cam part only and the other connector/socket is by-pass only? Hope this makes sense.

Most of my fuses are 15A and above so I dont know how 10A will work for my needs. I am planning to use either the 15A or 20A fuse

TIA
