Nice! I think I'll still hold out hope for the HRs to get lower before upgrading though... Unfortunately target never discounted them near me like elsewhere so might not happen 😶

Anyone know what support for this is going to be? Didn't the company go under?

Will the tracking suddenly stop working one day?

I had a Xaomi Mi Band 1 & 2. I use a fitbit, but I really miss the smart alarms that try to wake you during the optimal time when you are not in your deepest sleep.

Fitbit bought most of the company when it filed for insolvency

Just no further software updates is my understanding.

They released an update a few months ago that makes the watches independent of the former cloud features. Shouldn't have any issue.

I loved my Pebble Time. Got it on clearance about a year ago to dip my toes in the wearables market. Liked the utility enough to buy something better when a good deal came up.

Yeah, I got an HR on Walmart clearance, and it's great. Easy to track your workouts, HR, and sleep pattern.

If you've had a pebble before and liked it, I highly recommend picking this one up. I would recommend it to anyone, but even if you have a Time Steel, etc.

I bought it on a whim, have all gens - and I was shocked how this one became my daily driver. It's COMFY. Months of abuse later and the band it came with is just as clean, not-smelly, and the watch as a whole is perfectly comfortable.

Battery life suffers from the HR monitor, lasts me a work week easily - but slightly shy of the full week I got with the Time.

Black and white, yes, but I don't miss it. Easier to read, and a better watch overall. HR monitor is accurate if you place the watch well.

I'm on the shelf here just to buy one in case this one goes out.
