Amazon.com has DeWalt Flexvolt 60V Max Reciprocating Saw & 2x 6.0 ah Batteries Kit + DeWalt 20V MAX XR Li-Ion Brushless 3-Speed Hammer Drill on sale for $279 + tax (as applicable), when you follow the instructions listed below. Shipping is free.

Cheapest by a few dollars and in stock! Stack with credits from pre-prime day deals, to make it even sweeter (I stacked with my streaming credit and amazon cash credit).

Note, items must be shipped and sold by Amazon for promotional discount to be applied at checkout

2x 60V MAX* Lithium Ion Battery Packs
1x Low vibration Recip flexvolt saw blade.

1x kit bag
Add 1x DeWalt 20V MAX XR Li-Ion Brushless 3-Speed Hammer Drill [amazon.com] (DCD996B, Bare Tool) to cart

For the recip saw this is the lowest I've seen it by a bit. You can also get a battery [amazon.com] instead of the drill.

Was that back in 2000? Your vague story doesn't add anything to this deal as it positively wasn't even this saw. Just because you've been doing it for 20yrs doesn't mean you've been doing it right.

Not a bad saw as i have it and def a good price with free drill bit of all flexvolt this recip saw is wat i am least impressed with. Lacks 4 way blade clamp and adjustable shoe like 20v saw but is more powerful. Still no rafter hook but does have a light. There are better recip saws from other brands but like me im tied into dewalt only. Either way great price and crazy dewalt keeps running this promo at this price with the free drill. Could def flip drill if not needed for at least 100 if not a little more making a solid recip saw with 2 batteries and charger for 180 or less

Could even flip the batteries for 140 to 150 and charger for 40 to 50 if you didnt need them making the saw free except for tax at worst case if willing to put in work for flipping 140+100+40= 280

Not sure where you are seeing those numbers?! I just looked on eBay and one flexvolt battery goes for about $80-85. Some ppl are dumping them(probably because they did a deal like this) for $65. So I am thinking wait and see if price comes back up or selling the charger and battery together for like $140. Bag I am seeing as pointless to even sell.

I'm looking local not ebay, but even then you're looking at around $70 if you average and are conservative per battery, $100 which is conservative for the hammerdrill, $50 which is ok for the charger.

$100 +2*70+$50 = $290

Add in the fact after taxes at amazon this is about $293 for me, this is almost a free saw. Now If i wait a bit more and net $85 per battery instead of $70 it will even pay the 10% ebay seller fees, if you went that route.

aka put in the work and it's hard not to have an almost free or free saw.

Gotcha! I cancelled mine and reordered the deal but instead of the free battery I picked up the drill because of the fact it is selling more. I am keeping the batteries and saw only. Bag is a maybe.

why you tied to one brand when going from one size/voltage to another?

especially since you stay there are better.

Last time I used a deWalt cordless reciprocating saw it ran through a fully charged battery in about 5 minutes. Got a corded Milwaukee and never looked back. buyer beware.

DeWalt introduced FlexVolt just last year, so old comparisons are most likely out the window. I personally think this is a fantastic deal. I got the circular saw deal combo with the hammer drill and am eyeing the grinder and a 9.0 battery next.
