Anyone know how to tell Alexa which shopping cart to add items to? Now that I have fresh, it puts everything in the fresh shopping cart. Of course if I order brake pads and it puts that into the fresh cart, then it'll just say it's not available. There must be a setting for this.

Always say FRESH keyword to add in that shopping cart.

You're missing my point. You have the opposite of it in fact. I don't want to add things to my Fresh shopping cart but Alexa defaults to that. I want to add things to my regular shopping cart.

Oops my mistake. I tried adding Fire Stick to my cart and it was successful.

When I try, it adds it to my fresh cart. But of course fresh doesn't sell it so it gives me the same error as if I said "Add dsfkljalktgasjllkawlrtkljwrt to cart." It'll add it and say dsfkljalktgasjllkawlrtkljwrt is not available.

There must be a setting for this. I tried looking at both the normal settings and the alexa settings. I can't find it.

That's odd. I started up on Fresh during the Wand promotion and have made a couple orders via Alexa over the last two days and it checks out normal. Is it possible that you have started a Fresh order you haven't completed and so it's the default at the moment?

Nope. My fresh cart is empty, well it is after I empty out everytime. I have no pending/draft orders.

Huh, that's a head scratcher. You're ordering via Alexa through an echo? Or are you ordering through the Wand, which is considered a grocery device. Dumb I know but it would slightly explain it. Of course, if ordering though an echo it wouldn't make sense. The carts are different.

Wand. The wand does work if I say order, it gets ordered. The problem is when I say "add to cart", that goes into the fresh cart and not the regular cart.

That's probably why then. I order via an Echo, which is why I am not having the same issue. The wand is considered a kitchen assistant. One of the descriptions I saw on it was that it puts item into a special cart for Fresh orders.

I bought the wand just for the 90 day fresh trial and then took the batteries out after getting that set up and received the $20 credit.

not sure that adding chicken does anything for a trial, i just went into my account, and signed up for a fresh trial, that ends in 90 days.

a whole 5lb chicken for $5 isn't too shabby though.
