Seafall: A Legacy Game - Boardgame at Amazon for $35 w Prime

Was just browsing board games (looking for Dead of Winter deals, none to be had) and came across this for $35. According to Camel it's usually $45-50 ish and the full retail is $79. BGG score is 7.0 with several good reviews. For me it was a good place to use my 10$ Alexa Credit. Hope this helps someone out!

Description: SeaFall is a 4X-inspired game (without player elimination/extermination) set in an "age of sail" world reminiscent of our world.

In SeaFall, the world is starting to claw its way out of a dark age and has begun to rediscover seafaring technology. Players take on the role of a mainland empire that consults with a consortium of advisors to discover new islands, explore those islands, develop trade, send out raiding parties, take part in ship-to-ship combat, and more. As in Risk Legacy and Pandemic Legacy, co-designed by Rob Daviau, SeaFall evolves as the game is played, setting their grudges into the history of the game and building a different narrative at every table as players open up the world.

Check the hot deals forum at boardgamegeek.com, the game had gone as low as 29.99 and still no one wants to buy it! It's a legacy game that progresses tediously slowly

Just a heads up OP, but this is a legacy game so you can only play through the whole scenario once then it is kinda useless. Also, I haven't heard many good things about it, at least compared to Pandemic Legacy and Risk Legacy. You probably want to play it with the same five people, which would be over about 15 sessions.

Not as great as Pandemic Legacy - I think the lowest I've seen this go for is $30, so $35 isn't bad, but you can get a lot more enjoyment out of Legacy. If this goes under $30, I might consider it.

This has been $35 for a while now. I'd have picked it up if I had a stable group to play it with. My Risk: Legacy campaign never really got off the ground because I could never get the same people to come over.

I got it for $19.99 at a cardhaus sale a week ago. That was the price worth trying it for me.

I've been playing with friends for a few weeks (we get a game a week at most) and really enjoy it. We've taped our sessions if you want to see what the game looks like and plays like. This is a recent video and there are others before this : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n1ULVTnHYYA

It's a fun game if you have people who will show up and play REGULARLY! If they can't commit to playing it thru, then this isn't for you.
