Is this laptop enough to remote connect into the office and do work that way? I don't do any gaming. Just need a laptop that can remote connect into the office. Thanks.

This is more than enough to remote access to work I believe besides the resolution might a bit lower, but it definitely will do the job.

Yes, but you'll be hating life remote desktopping to a PC with a 1080p (or higher) screen rez with the crap screen this laptop has. Trust me, I know.

Your thinking of a desktop screen sharing program. If you use remote desktop protocol (rdp) you can connect to a server like your supposed to (avoiding the screen sharing mess). Otherwise as long as no one is using the desktop you can rdp (avoids screen sharing again) to that (desktop must be a professional version of windows) but no one else can use the desktop on site. If you use rdp you can set the screen resolution to whatever you want in advanced rdp settings. The default is full screen using your pc's native screen resolution.

With that said using a laptop screen/touchpad/keyboard is miserable. Get yourself a big monitor and usb keyboard and mouse. Hook them up and you can set your screen resolution on the monitor much higher than the built in screens native resolution. In fact if your only doing work from the laptop your better off saving the money on a better laptop screen by buying this and putting it towards a good monitor.

You should look up wyse win terminal specs. Those are literally just for making a remote connection to a server via remote desktop protocol. The specs on this is higher. You probably need a vpn client installed first so this is better as you can't install programs to a wyse really and would need a hardware vpn setup otherwise.

I suggest getting a monitor and USB keyboard/mouse to make your experience better.

*Edit* Slick deals app had me quote same person 3 times, they were not pleased
