How is this better than Windows Defender? I've been running without anti virus for years

Great deal. Worth noting that even if you don't want to use the other security features of this, the AV is still a fantastic product and you can install only that if desired.

Been using ESET's products since they were introduced over here and have installed them on all my family members systems plus a number of friends including the brain dead tech dummies with perfect successes. Friends who fail to renew and either switch to the crapola freebie programs ALWAYS call me saying they screwed up asking for help.
Not only is the security about the best out there but the drain on your system resources is minimal. Systems all feel faster...
Believe it's just about 20 years and I swear by their products.

Best price; only comes around about three or four times a year. Light weight software that is above its peers in virus detection and malware prevention.

They are a good name. The only problem I have is these deals always come in 1 year subscription only.

I love ESET. Switched to Kaspersky one year because it was cheaper and instantly regretted the decision. Didn't even complete the year and switched back to ESET. It's just lightweight and effective.

Price is pretty good too, especially considering I have 6 PCs to protect.

I've not been a fan of where Norton has gone in recent years (been using them for the vast majority of the past 15 years). I see this as a great opportunity to switch.

Smart Security 2016 becomes Internet Security (2017), usually the key should work on either
