TP-Link 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet PoE+ Rackmount Energy-efficient Switch with 124W 8-PoE+ Ports (TL-SG1008PE) [amazon.com]

Lowest ever per 3Cs. I've been watching this for months and normally hovers around $120-$130.

This is PoE+. Note the much higher 124W (versus PoE at 60W). Great for IP security cameras, WAPs, VoIP phones, etc.

Nice! Was looking for a deal on a PoE+ switch. I'll be using it for a UAP-AC-PRO and some Amcrest cameras. Good deal.

You might consider placing the PoE+ next to the "8" in the Title, so SD'ers get more of the great value this is, as opposed to just 4 PoE ports.

GREAT find. Rep'ped.

all 8 ports POE? Some other ones say POE and not all ports are actual POE.

Seems so - says "with 8-port PoE" on the picture of the box.

Great deal, thanks OP!

Consider spending a little time looking at the data, Q&A, and Reviews. It's a big price reduction for a proven PLUS (handles a greater range of af/at compliant cameras) unit, with efficient handling of 8 peripherals (not just PoE, or PoE+ cameras).

Why, why the hell do they design it with the ports in the front and power in the back. Put everything in the back! As much as I hate that design choice, I had to buy it at this price. Another 8-port POE switch I got a couple years ago was almost twice this price.

Are there any benefits of buying two 8-port units vs one with 16 ports? Thanks!

Other than maybe being cheaper due to this price. But 2 8 ports will take up 2 LAN ports on your router, which are usually already at a premium unless you have another switch in between.

edit: great point below - since you could only put 14 devices on 2 8 ports instead of 15 on a 16 port.

Hmmmm... more like only 7 usable PoE ports since one would have to be an uplink, right?
