Hi! I am looking for somebody who is willing to donate me their depleted cartridge or toner chip! I am trying to figure out how to reset the page counter so the cartridge doesn't stop at the artificial page counter.

Once again, if anybody is willing to help my out with a toner chip, that would be great! Message me!

How easy is it to refill the toner cartridge with generic powder? Is it as big a nuissance as burning a hole in the cartridge like with Samsung products? Will it keep printing with a low toner light on or is buying a new chip necessary? I already have a Samsung m2020w, but I've become disillusioned with the Samsung brand after their stealth firmware upgrades killed all generic toner cartridges. Now I have to keep moving my good chip from cartridge to cartridge. Eventually, they'll release a firmware upgrade to block this as well, I'm sure.

if looking to buy, read reviews on this particular model as to what 'wireless' really allows you to do. was not what I was expecting, and wish I had read up on it first before ordering.

I remember when this printer used to go on sale for $25. I had one for about a year and a half, it got the job done.

I bought it when it was $25. Been very happy with it. Well worth it, even at $35.

AFAIK, there still is not a chip resetter or source for chips to allow for refilling the cartridge. So factor that into your decision

Same here but I'm still holding out for another printer deal at $25 or a toner for <$25. The downside to this printer is that it take a long time before it spits out a printed sheet. I can hit print and it won't start warming up for 15 seconds. Once it starts moving, a printed sheet comes out quickly.

That's exactly what I am doing. I am making a chip resetter right now and I need more chips to test it. It seems like I can't find any chinese source that supplies new chips for me to actually test on. I managed to pull data from the chip but I managed to erase all of the memory on it.

So the cartridge actually has a dedicated hole with a cap. You don't have to worry about burning a hole. However, the chip is the issue. There are no suppliers that carry it and it seems like there are no other third party alternatives for toner cartridges.

Would you send me the link? I dont mind trying it out. All of the current suppliers I have found on alibaba so far have told me that they no longer supply the chips.

I'm interested! Care to share what you've found? I built a resetter for the C250DN Ricoh color laser printer. It'd be nice if the Pantum was somewhat the same (I2C).
