Moto G5 Plus 64 GB (no ads) at Fry's with promo code for $239 in-store

Looks like a bunch of Moto G5 Plus 64 GB sales today (why only after Prime day!). $239 is the lowest with no ads that I've seen so far today.

Requires promo code from e-mail to get the $239 price. Ad says it is available online but I don't see it available for shipping, so YMMV. Most likely that was a typo and the price is only for in-store purchase.

Yeah looks like no shipping unfortunately but at least you can buy from Amazon for this price and easily remove the ads. Good deal though none the less.

It's a different product. This one has no ads on the lockscreen. Amazon similarly sells the non-ad version for $50 more than the ad version on their website on typical non-prime-days.

The Newegg deal is $200 for the 32gb or $250 for the 64gb.

This one comes with an unlocked bootloader from everything I've heard and seen Amazon ads one does not. Also it might be easy to remove the ads for a lot of people but for some it could feel like a very daunting task and one they don't want to take on.

Just bought the Amazon version yesterday. And I am already using it right now. Great phone for $179 plus tax. The ads so far are not intrusive. I think I will keep mine.

If you don't care about rooting, amazon ads edition would save you some cost. If you need to root, amazon ads edition cannot be rooted due to (perhaps) Lenovo/Motorola pinky promised Amazon that they will never ever allow anybody unlocking boot loader (preventing root).

$220 at Costco for 32GB. Since this has a microSD slot regardless of the internal storage selected, Costco might be a better option for some.
