Use promo code: 17FAN112 during checkout for $10 off.
This comes to $84.99 AR for Newegg Premier users (free shipping). For everyone else it will be $86.99 AR shipped.

This motherboard comes with the video game Everspace for free.

This is one of the newest AMD Ryzen motherboards. It is constantly out of stock. Buy it quickly before you can't get it for days! The $10 off promo ends tomorrow.

Most Ryzen PC builders are recommending this board as a good candidate for a build. This price is very nice too!

Best bang for the buck? Hands down this motherboard. Another cheap B350 that gets good reviews is the "GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING 3". Make sure it has the "3" at the end! Gigabyte also makes a version without the 3 (its just called " GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING" and people get them confused). Both of these boards have very nice audio chipsets on them. I actually bought the GIGABYTE GA-AB350-GAMING 3 a few days ago and I'm probably going to return it because this Asus motherboard came back into stock.

This Asus is much newer it came out in June. I also checked the rate at which both companies are uploading firmware and ASUS is doing it much faster. That means they are giving better support for their product. The other B350 motherboards that are slightly better (going on information from the AMD community) is the MSI b350 Gaming pro carbon and the MSI b350 Krait gaming. Both have great hardware features on their boards but I've read about people losing faith in MSI as a brand. But this is MSI's top of the line B350 board so it has better components than their mid tier to low tier motherboards. That's my take on this all. I go for best bang for the buck. If I wanted "best of the best" I'd end up spending way too much on my computer build. I wouldn't be a "slick dealer" at that point Wink

Don't forget the $1.99 shipping, unless you have Premier. That's $87AR to more accurate.

Good point! I always forget since I have premier. Strange that Shoprunner isn't offered on this motherboard. I'll edit my listing.

Everspace is pretty fun...just bought it during the steam sale.

Without knowing anything about this board, the branding suggests it's fairly high end...

Noticed that shop runner wasn't offered on a few deals the other day either

adding form factor to OP may help, kinda assumed it was ATX and it was

Could someone please tell me which of these is better. I bought both but will return the lesser one. Any help is greatly appreciated. I'm working on my first Ryzen build.

Slick deal. Wanted to buy this board but was out of stock yesterday. Would return x370 taichi for this board if it is not non-returnable item at Newegg.

I kind of regret not waiting till today for this board, but I think I'm better off with the Gigabyte AX370 K5 that I bought for ~$130 yesterday anyway. It has better OCing (which will come in handy to push the new 1700 to beyond 1800X levels), the dual USB-3.0 Headers (need both), and the added couple of SATA ports (I actually need all 8!). Still a solid deal...especially for someone that doesn't plan to OC or have lots of internal drives/hot-swap bays like me.

Both are good manufacturers, but I like the ASUS better because of the added PCIe-16x 3.0 slot. The only advantage I see on the ASRock board is the dual M.2, which, IMO, is unnecessary and probably (I didn't check, but it typically does) degrades the speed when using 2x thus negating the advantages of M.2.
