Yes...for 1 year. If you don't want to go through the hassle of porting out to another plan or do not quality for the Sprint deal, this is the next best option.

It should not be what you call a sticky price. Boost mobile lets you stay grandfathered on a plan I believe. Over the past 4+ years of having them they have eliminated old plans but you can stay on them if you want. So far that would be the worst thing you could do though since the newer plans are generally cheaper and offer the same data or a but less etc and are still unlimited. Once you swap to a different plan you cant go back to a discontinued plan. Right now this is the best deal for the data and the only difference i noticed is you get 50 roaming minutes. I have never used them so i imagine this would matter of your in a area sprint is constantly relying on verizon or traveling around the country.

Below is about the deal in general in case someone asks.

This is the same plan as last time. So you need to port in one number minimum and than 3 new lines with new numbers on boost. You cant already be on boost, virgin mobile, sprint, or any subsidiary of sprint like ring plus for example (only one i can think of outside the list. I think the pricing may be different where dropping a 1-3 lines still results in a $100 total bill.

It depends on your area. Sprint is great in city's in general. They invested there more.

$25/mo isn't bad, Sprint's not too horrible around here, better than T-Mo, that's for sure. Verizon and ATT are the 1-2 in the area, and I'll gladly spend $35/mo for a Verizon MVNO for the peace of mind.

Still have a locked Boost iPhone SE. Can't use it on Sprint, but probably not worth paying 12*25 just to be able to unlock it. I guess there's still a market for it on Swappa...

I'm not sure how saving $1200 over a years time could be a hassle. To each his own.
