Is this the same unit that was on sale yesterday for $120? Just the color/trim is different?

This is the price I paid for the century matte black during prime day. It didn't include the double dipping credit, but still a good price since retail is ~200

I have one of these hooked up to a wink hub and alexa. Works quite well. Alexa wont unlock it (although there's a hack) for security purposes but a phone or android watch will.

Be advised that the indoor part of the deadbolt is huge and in my case hit the inside knob trim and I had to cut it back. So check the docs as to door hole separation requirements.

For the reviews that complain about battery life, they didn't do a good job of making sure the deadbolt slides in and out smoothly. I've had the same batteries in there for 3 months and it still reports at 100%. If the motor has to fight friction it'll eat the batteries.

I have an echo, but prefer to unlock while in the car if I have a lot to carry.... I'm not familiar with what else I'd need so I could unlock through an app... What would you recommend?

I was wondering if anyone on here can troubleshoot an issue I'm having with this. It occurred just a few days ago when the pad stopped working. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred and i suddenly had trouble with the pad not responding. Unplugged the connector from the pad to the bolt and it worked again for several hours before the pad stopped responding again. I thought it might be the wire connector but nothing is frayed or pin broken. When the pad gets unresponsive I disconnect the battery wire and connect it back and that seems to function normally for an unknown amount of time before it stops again. I tried to search it up online but their dang schlage website doesn't go to the forum.
