Is this price really good, or in a few months might get better deals? I'm not in a hurry much, but if this is a fantastic price might bite.

Everything seems good, but what's with the MiniUSB power connection? That too in such a small camera? Are these guys stuck in 2009? Isn't MicroUSB not preferred in the dashcam world? can't make sense of it. Haven't really been up on the dashcam happenings..

It just came out this month @$100. So far, seems like a good price.

I was wondering the same thing. My assumption is that the MicroUSB head is less likely to f up after constant usage and more likely to stay attached? I was planning on hard wiring it anyways so none of that would really matter.

It's $99 every place else including Amazon and Ebay. This is a great price.

I just purchased it with a credit card that gives me 90 day price protection if the price drops, 1 year extended warranty, and 90 days to send it to the credit card company for a full refund if the place I bought it won't take it back.

I was waiting for another deal on the Viofo A119 with gps because I could remove it when hot but this is supposed to be for extreme temperatures. One guy on the dashcam website was using it in his car in the sun with no AC and inside temp of 67C or 152F for 30 minutes with no problems.

There are a few videos on You Tube and the video looked good to me and as good as the A119 in a comparison video and I didn't see the horrible saturated yellow 1920s film night vision videos like the A119 has.

It is backordered so if you aren't in a hurry can always cancel if we hear bad reviews before it ships. Vifio is good with firmware updates to resolve issues.

I don't like the bigger mini usb port vs micro usb port either, but surprisingly many dash cams use mini usb ports.

Is this worth it if you already have the a119?

Me too but probably because no one knows about it and very few reviews. Some talk about it at dashcamtalk.com https://dashcamtalk.com/forum/forums/wr1.243/

I'm guessing probably not.

The WR1's Sony sensor has better night vision and in a comparrison videi the WR1 could make out license plates better but it was really close and that is with both at 1080P. At 1440P that the A119 can do it is probably better.

I placed my backorder a few hours ago. Liked it because of the form factor, capacitor based, and wifi features and price. Hoping that Viofo quality will be there on this product the same as their A119.

Great, thanks. The only pro to this camera it seems is the smaller form factor.

Gps? Is that going to be an addon to this or a new separate product?
