55" for $729
65" for $1049

Tried getting the 9000 series earlier but so many issues with keeping it in my cart. Found the 8000 and pulled the trigger w/ $129 3-year replacement.

Is safe to buy refurb from Groupon? I heard horror stories on previous deals.

Did you buy your extended warranty through Squaretrade?

I bought the 3 year protection plan for 79.99. Refurb is a little risky so its worth it in my opinion.

This is a very nice TV, I have a 49" one at home and was waiting forever for a deal on this.

I had the same worry about the refurb, so I bought the 3 year replacement. I felt that with how great a TV this is, I should probably protect it. It wasn't through square trade, as the link took me here; LINK [groupon.com]

UPDATE: They just canceled the 3-year product replacement warranty. "We're sorry, but we were unable to process your order for 3-year product replacement warranty"

So both my warranties got canceled, and they pulled the orders down. 90 days on this unit with no ability to protect has me worried. Thoughts?

I wouldn't buy this TV without an extended warranty. I hear quite a few complaints on bleeding light on this TV. I never noticed it on my JS before but I see them now not too noticeable only when I'm on a black screen.

I'll hang tight until someone confirm an option to get extended warranty before pulling the trigger.

Obviously saving a few bucks vs saving a few hundred dollars is a huge difference and determining factor.

Buying a refurb TV with a 3 year extended warranty for half the price is IMO some ways better than buying new unit.

Lets not forget if you pay with your Visa card, they actually provide 1 year extended warranty even on refurbs. So technically if you're desperate you can buy into this deal and use your eligible Visa. You'll end up with 15 months of warranty.

So tempting. Is this too good to be true? Manufacturer refurbished so does that mean Samsung ships this tv?

Was Looking at the limited warrenty. I think it says that it does not apply to damage during shipping or any cosmetic damage. Not too sure.
