Is the hard anodized pan good for cooking on high heat? Don't want to pick something that wife will give me a hard time about it.

my only concern with these is chemicals used in the coating, anyone have some insights on that stuff?

i'm assuming hard anodized aluminum is better than the 'heavy-duty aluminum'?

Says it's good up to 400F (oven), as did the Analon wok I got from another slickdeal. Also, we recently got a Circulon set with hard anodized nonstick and the instructions for the pot did say we were not to use on max heat/high for extended period except if boiling something.

I had Rachel Ray cookware and they did not last long at all. I had to replace them recently after about one year of use. They started peeling at the bottom.

Your math is bad. Dollar amount discounts apply before percentage, so it's actually $159.99 - $10 = $149.99, $149.99 x 70% = $104.99 + tax, $104.99 (plus tax) - $30 rebate = $74.99, $20 Kohl's Cash + $5 Yes2You Rewards, so $50 + tax on subtotal, if you shop at Kohl's enough. So even MORE slick AR+KC+Y2Y, and still $20 less (up front) than currently available anywhere else. Thanks for posting! In for one Brights in orange. We have the blue, but just got a new range and they don't match. *They do start to flake if you overheat them, but if it gets bad enough, the warranty should cover it, and for the price, it's totally worth it.

/edit, I have been corrected. Even slicker! Apologies. See bold for correction.

104.99 (+ tax) - $30 Mail in Rebate = $74.99 (+ tax)

I had a $10 off $30 for Kohls from Discover as well. Added in a smaller item to keep it above $100 so I got the $20 Kohls cash too.

WARNIING!!! Do no buy this. You will be eating and tasting the non stick from the pots and pans. You will get cancer, disgusting. It's dirt cheap for a reason.
