I've been watching these but man the experiences are all over the map. Some think it doesn't ever crisp things as advertised, some post pictures of it melting the plastic on it's own first cook.

Seems as if their voltage control on the heating element isn't great leading to results that can be on opposite ends of the spectrum depending on randomness.

This is a great price but just read the recent reviews. Makes me sad. I want one lol.

I "like" my air fryer (I have a Phillips), but I don't think I'd personally pay this much for it. I got mine for about $40 maybe two years ago when I was working at Best Buy and that was definitely worth it. It doesn't crisp things anywhere near what actual frying does (I have a deep fryer as well) but it has similar results as baking it in the oven but in a fraction of the time. Super convenient when I just want a handful of french fries or something and don't want to turn the whole oven on and such.

Here's the thing: If it is (or becomes defective), take it back. This is Kohl's and they are liberal with returns. This will be my 2nd attempt to have a nice air fryer. 1st one has a manual timer, which sticks often. I have to have a 2nd timer on to avoid burning food and/or a fire hazard if not supervised. Plus that one had a 60 day warranty, which had lapsed before I even used it. My fault of course for not using it, but if it had been purchased from Kohl's, I would have returned or exchanged it with no hassles. Good to know about potential issues though, so reps for the HU.

ADVICE!... I just bought the $40 farberware Slickdeals one a few days ago from Walmart. I've never owned one. Think I should return that one and get this one instead?

More than 2 to feed? Trust a spring timer? Want more than 30 days to return it? Read my earlier post.

Yes you should buy this instead. Yours is too small even for only 2 people. If you overload it, it won't work well.

I have this NuWave exact unit and have been using it for a couple months. We really like it, especially chicken drumlets/wings. Way tastier than deep fried. Frozen fries turn out great but fresh are harder to execute.

Just like with other air fryers, some non stick coating starts to peel off from the heat even with careful washing. But I decided to just deal with it since it's only some spots.

This unit has a stainless steel mesh on bottom which is great.

Don't forget e b a t e s 6% cash back.

This is good price for 6quart size. I have a Bella 2.5qrt which I bought from Kohls (last BF) for $15 ( after rebate and KC). While I m happy with the way food comes out, I wish basket size was bigger. You can cook whole chicken on this one.

Ordered 1. Been wanting to try the Air Fryer and this looks like a good deal. If it didn't work out as expected, Kohls can always accept returns.
