Has an app that can track fitness activity.
Heart rate sensor
Accelerometer
Bluetooth connectivity
Lightly waterproof
Push notifications from phone
Sleep tracking, sedentary alarm, etc

Those that know programming can hack the watch and put arduino on it. I'm going to try to turn one into a Pokemon Go Plus.

States: 256kb Rom size. 32kb flash. Nrf51822 bluetooth low energy module

Only 68 red ones left at the moment.

Is this the hack you're referring to? http://hackaday.com/2016/07/03/cu...s-tracker/

It's a functionally similar device but the devil is in the details. I would suspect there would be quite a lot of work in reverse engineering this device - or does the OP have a link to some specific hacking for this model? It's a good price for all the functionality offered but I suspect that even moderately competant hardware hackers would end up leaving this on the shelf unless someone has already done the hard work in identifying all the internal device addresses etc.

I've seen that link, and it probably uses the same nrf51822 microprocessor as do a lot of trackers. I'm more or less going to use this guide though:

But yes, the programming thing isn't for the typical consumer, haha. Just waiting for it to arrive to tinker with.
