Been this price for a while. Still couldn't believe it. Bought a few cans to toss in my pos. I don't think this is good fluid though. It seems like the AC pump kicks on and off a lot. Still. It was 10 bucks to fill it up so yeah you really can't beat that price.
Did you check to see if it's overfilled? Rapid cycling can be a sign of the limit switch kicking the system off

Pure Refrigerant is the exact same regardless the name on the can. There is absolutely zero difference. Again, this is for straight pure stuff, not the crap with the incl low press gauge with synthetic additives, stop leak, etc....which have a tendency to do more long term harm than good. You also can't simply toss in a few cans and think your good as new. Sure it may be putting out cool air but that doesn't mean your operating in spec. You need a full set of gauges to get the system to spec, and the only way to get right on the money is to empty the system out and put in exactly the ounces it calls for.

If you have Menards nearby, it is $3.97 a can.

I think that's all true but the sealant stuff has worked for me on beater cars that were just about ready to be scrapped. Can get you through a summer.

How do you check overfill? There is a meter & filling tube that comes with the bigger can, but it's a crap.

Easy way is on a really hot day it will cycle fast and not cool as good as on a slightly cooler day.

Gauges are helpful also
