Has anyone tried this for "normal" Mobil One? This appears to be specific to the annual protection blend.

IMHO, annual protection oil is overkill, not spending that much to begin with. Mine is on Extended performance diet.

Good luck to ones who trust this annual oil thing. I drive ~30k miles yearly and rather put out some work every 6 months. Extended per or penzoil full synthetic all the way

This Mobil Annual Protection Oil is $39.99.

If you are a 'normal average diver' (<12K miles per year) this Annual protection is great, both from an economic stand point and from a performance standpoint. If you drive more than that, you are better off with regular synthetic oil and changing every 6 months or after 5K/10K per your vehicle.

Wouldn't you be better with Extended Performance for $25? It's up to 15,000 miles. Don't forget to buy a premium oil filter too. I like Fram Ultra Synthetic for the money.

So $13 is not a good deal for full synthetic, even if you decide to change it at your normal OCI?
