MSI Z270 CAMO SQUAD LGA 1151 Intel Z270 HDMI USB 3.1 ATX Intel Motherboard Newegg $99 AR AC

Looks like a nice motherboard, good features, if you don't mind camo decorations on heatsinks and I/O cover. Personally - I have got a GTX 1060 MSI CAMO just before prices went up and this board is a perfect match for it.

https://www.newegg.com/Product/Pr...gnorebbr=1

Price: $139.99
Coupon code: EMCRHBE22 drops it to $119
Rebate $20 drops it to $99
Shipping adds $1.99 or FS with Premier

Rebate:
$30 is not valid anymore
New $20 rebate:
https://images10.newegg.com/uploa...nm13us.pdf

EDIT: Rebate lowered to $20 on 07/16 and price went up $10, so AR/AC it's around $100 now.

I'm torn. The price is great but I seriously dislike camo.

I kinda like it. I'm bias though, I have a noctua fan that would match perfectly with this lol.

I just like that it's different from the typical white / red / black theme we always see.

Wow, such a discounted price. No reviews is kind of worrisome, though.

Yeah I couldn't find any reviews on other sites either, just a Tom's Hardware article announcing the launch of MSI's camo lineup.

This board is useless... It's missing the whole I/O block, VRMs, MOSFETs and there a couple of holes right near the chipset.

No wonder it's cheap.

I've been building computers since middle school and I'm still not sure what all that is really for

Do you mean, oh I don't know, the mounting holes? Seriously?! All of the typical front panel I/O is there. The back I/O, except for the PS/2 and two USB ports for some stupid reason, is very clearly covered by a freaking I/O plate. Sure, it's a bit limited in I/O but completely in line with every other board in its price range. It's a 6 + 4 power phase design. Which VRMs and MOSFETs specifically are missing?

Edit: Wow, I'm a snarky idiot and an asshole with 12 ounces of Jameson in me. Sorry dude.

Won't trust msi after the buggy shit board they sent back in an RMA back in 2010. none of the OC, temp and fan controls worked properly

Well on 07/15 rebate was $30, looks like new one is $20. I have just got an email yesterday from Newegg that said item I was looking at dropped in price and a coupon code. At least they still have $20 rebate now.
I really like msi boards for Intel and ryzen processors, with easy oc and fan control, I did not like msi for old fx series.
