I beg to differ - from my experience, Verizon prepaid phones have to be used with Verizon prepaid service for 6 months before they're unlocked. Specifically, I've never had to deal with this using an iPhone, but I'm assuming it's the same as with the Android phones with which I've dealt.

Ok, I stand corrected. I appreciate the insight!

Well you're wrong... none of them have to be used with verizon if you don't turn it on with the verizon pre-paid sim in them first. Use a verizon post paid or t-mobile / ATT sim on the first power up and they are unlocked.

Also This iphone is 100% unlocked if you follow what I said above.

Looks like this just became unavailable for shipping a couple of minutes ago. I'm also seeing no stores within 250 miles from me have any. Anyone else see the same?

Works with Sprint, does not have band 41 so you will not get band 41 on sprint.

Yes, you can activate the phone on Sprint and use the phone on Sprint.

As far as factory unlocked model, iPhones are not factory locked/unlocked, they are all locked and than server unlocked. This phone is unlocked.

what I mean by "they are all locked and than server unlocked", The phone comes locked and the apple server tells the phone the SIM policy when you first activate the phone.

thanks a lot. does this phone have ANYTHING to do with Verizon? does it display the annoying message "This is not a Verizon sim" if you insert any other sim?
