It would have to say "new" before I bought a ssd. Limited number of reads and writes, although high, you dont know where a refurb drive is on the numbers.

These Samsung 850 evo drives have popped up a few times. Anyone bought one with any experiences so far?

I bought the recertified 1TB Crucial SSD posted last year to be my data drive on my laptop and I have a samsung 840 evo mSATA as my boot drive. They are both still ticking.
