Friend of mine has 2 floors and was afraid this unit would fly down. I found this. [gearbest.com] seems pretty neat. I imagine it's some kinda electronic fence

for 300 i would prefer a neato or samsung powerbot over xiaomi. their support in usa is almost zero.

I had a neato malfunction after 2 years and i got it replaced for $50.
these things do break.

For how big of a space?

For "whole floor" cleaning this, Neato, and the 900 series Roombas will cut it. The older so called "bump-map" Robots which the original Roomba and 800 series are based on are fine in smaller spaces but often get lost or miss large chunks when asked to clean a whole floor or complex space. The navigation technology in the 800 series hasn't changed much since 2002, and it shows.

If you can afford a 900 series, then get that. The warranty/support/etc is superior to this. A Neato is kind of a compromise between this and a 900 series, not quite as good as a Roomba 900 series for support/longevity, but not quite as poor as this. Ultimately this is the budget option, you get a great device for the cost, but if something goes wrong then you're SOL.

Considering you can buy two or three of these for the cost of one Roomba 980, it isn't a hard sales pitch.

PS - Ignore Consumer Reports on this, their robotic vacuum test layout was designed in 2002 for the original Roomba and wasn't updated for whole floor cleaning since.

I have one of these and let me say that I LOVE IT! I didn't purchase it from gearbest, i purchased from Aliexpress, it arrived quickly and in the original box along with it being very protected. However, it's a great Robot Vacuum i had one before this and it would just go everywhere, this one does it in a certain way to make sure it doesn't miss anything. The app is fully in English and i am able to understand everything. I'm able to control everything when i'm away from home. It'll even let me schedule a certain time to do it. Now i understand that warranty is a big concern, which i agree with, sending this machine back to China would be a nightmare, so what i did is bought Squaretrade warranty and now if i ever have a problem they'll deal with it. Overall, i love this machine, it cleans well and does it quicker than my last two machines. It cleans messes up quickly yet does a good job at it, the only con would probably be that the app needs a little work and no US Warranty, although those can be fixed by buying warranty elsewhere. Hope this helps out someone!

Yes, it is. but it has the Chinese plug, so the adapter is needed for US.

I love this one.
It is all-around for floors, carpets or even mats.

Mine came with a US plug. Have used it a couple of days and been impressed with how well it performs and the ability to use the app on my phone to check on the status of the vacuum. It has some great functionality at a modest price point.

Couldnt agree more...or just pray nothing will happen to your unit cause shipping it back to china is not only expensive and there is also no guarantee you will get your money back from gearbest. read some horror stories about gearbest and staying far away from making this purchase.

Tried Roomba 880 and it was a piece of junk. Neato was better but I still ended up returning as it would sometimes error out trying to come out of a corner.
