I recommend a parachute material hammock. I swapped out both of mine immediately. They are cooler and more comfy. You can find them quite often for $10-$14 alone or $20ish with straps. I'll try to link an example that I like shortly

i bought one, and i absolutely love it. very convenient to set up and take it down. i'd say within under 5 mins after your first run of putting it together. it's about 3-4 bars, some screws to hold it and the hammock.

Can anyone comment on how hard this is to set up and take down? I wouldn't want to leave it up so I'd have to set it up and take it down every time.
Thanks

Very easy to setup and take down. I would say 10-15 minutes your first time. Then 5 minutes after that. It takes a little practice fitting everything into the bag if you want to transport or store for long periods.

I've bought 2 of these. One from BCP directly and the other from Newegg. We love them.

Has anyone had to replace the hammock itself? My frame is perfect but the fabric and ropes just tore to shreds when left out on a very windy day. I don't see similar replacements anywhere.

easy to set up. but not easy to take down as they are very tight on the joint. realized this when I put it up and don't plan to take it down. if you leave it outdoor I think will be much harder to take down as the joint rust. we enjoyed it everyday though.

About 3 minutes I would say to assemble/take down. Then add 20 minutes to try to fit it in the carrying bag. It's a great hammock gets used almost daily on my patio by 1-2 people at a time- wife and I are combined 285lbs and has held up very well for about 2 years right by the ocean in Cali. If you have an alternative to storing it I would recommend but the carrying bag it comes with is not going to last with multiple uses

I got this and set it up and haven't been able to use it because it's unstable, tipping to the side.

The first time I tried to sit on it I fell over the other side. I don't see how to relax on it without tipping.

My previous hammock had wooden bars to spread it out and it was stable. This one has nothing to do that and is a narrow hammock.
