The Archer C9 is the same price as the Prime Day deal that hit the front page last week. I don't have Prime, so this is better for me. Thanks OP

so I have a dlink 865 and not happy at all with range. I gave that connected to my n66r through ethernet as a access point upstairs. Can anyone here recommend or compare range between the c9 or the nighthawk listed? are they much better than my old Asus n66r? I want to replacement dlink but still keep my Asus as an access point. or am I better off looking at a68u or the 1900 nighthawk? I want something to extend my range into the backyard a little until a run another access point to the garage.

For those interested in the C9, I ordered one early yesterday morning and did the free same day shipping. Got it last night and it is hardware version 1. According to the reviews there is a version 2 and 3 now. Not sure if the deal was trying to clear out old stock and I'm not sure what the differences between hardware builds are.

There is beta support for dd-wrt on v1 and v2, but not v3.

I think that's the C7 with 3 different rev. Amazon tends to bunch all the reviews together.

TP-Link are junk. If you have ever used any other brand with similar model you will realize that
