You just made that up. About a minute per week is normal for cheap unregulated movements. 5 minutes a day means your watch is broken and you need it serviced.

Actually, the FP deal last month has a Japanese movement; this has a Chinese movement. I don't know exactly which specific movement, but Seiko movements tend to be durable, and will last a long time.

I have a few Seiko's, nice watches. That said this one is a Fossil.

I owned a couple Fossil's in HS through College. I think they were pretty nice at the time. As I grew older I started thinking of them more as a more budget watch. Different strokes different folks I suppose! Either way this isn't a bad looking watch.

FYI Chinese auto movements lose about 5 mins per day in my experience. Not a deal breaker for the price obviously but just a heads-up
My experience could hardly be more different. How many Chinese autos have you owned, and which movements?

I Dont think ive ever owend a single watch that lost 5 minutes a day... From a $5 dollar watch to a $300. Never bought anything more then that. but i would only expect better. A majority of my collection is Fossil Around 100-200ish. had a few Guess and Randoms aswell. Fossil Is pretty decent for the price IMO

This is a beautiful watch. I actually bought it from the fossil store a while back and decided to return. Was too expensive ($200+) and it was super thick. Good price now...

Does anyone happen to know what the "power reserve" is on this watch?

My favorite feature of the watch is the back where you can see all the internal moving parts.

I don't know but I would expect 40 hours, give or take a few.

Front page with only 14 thumbs up, while dozens of other deals have 50+ thumbs up but not on the front page? guess jomashop is unusually generous with showering advertising $$$ on sd?
