2/2 for me, I sell on etsy and I swear last time they did this I got the offer even when paying my selling fees, which was pretty awesome.

It may have changed but worth a shot again, the bill needs to be paid either way.

edit: Yep, just double checked and the previous $8 back on $40 purchase and it worked on seller fees previously.

I want to do Etsy, give it a try, but I can't think of anything an average guy like me might but there. Any good suggestions? I was hoping someone sold custom made electrical wires, like for solar panels, but couldn't find them.

Thanks, OP! Was able to add it to my card, and I buy a lot from etsy, so this'll come in handy.

Does anyone know if this'll work when purchasing a $50 etsy gift card? It did last time they has this deal (last Xmas) but the terms now say "Excludes e-gift card purchases" so I'm not sure if it still does work.

Would be useful if it did work, since it's not too often that you find $50 worth of stuff that you want to buy all at once. And I'm not sure if it splits up the charges from different shops if you check out all at the same time, either.

Average guy there is a good amount of stuff, but like someone else mentioned wallets, cigar boxes, custom things for bar... like glasses, shot glasses, bottle opener. People make some really neat and creative things on etsy. It's pretty much a marketplace for things you see on Pinterest.

The biggest thing people use etsy for IMHO is personalized gifts. Custom items for someone that just had a baby, wedding, etc.

I personally sell high-quality vinyl decals for vehicles, walls, laptops, etc. Also custom wooden signs that I handpaint for customers.

Do you like coffee or tea? I've bought handmade/ground coffee a few times for my dad there.

Don't worry if they split up transactions, the offer states multiple transactions.
