I might be all over the Inspiron 7567 if it were the IPS screen. This must be the TN screen.

Whoever decided to put that TN panel in that model should never be allowed to design/engineer a product again.... I have to wonder how much that decision has cost Dell in returns on these systems.

The 4k is IPS Smilie I haven't seen any 1080p IPS screens pop up in the description yet though.

I just recently picked up a 7559 from a SD. It has the IPS with the 4K resolution and the 6th Gen 6700 proc and the GTX 960.

The screen is nice, but it throttles horribly. I can't even watch a 4K/1080p video file (Mavic Pro or GoPro 4) without major screen tearing. It gets better with the unit plugged in, but it still sees it intermittently.

Price was $529 from the outlet.

There are several IPS configs listed.

Try re-pasting the CPU/GPU if you feel comfortable.

Maybe look into updating the BIOS and video drivers (Intel & nvidia). It might make a difference.

Certified Refurb Alienware 15R3 with 1060 6GB isn't bad at $817.52 with coupon.
It does have IPS screen and 1TB drive.

Comes with 1 year premium warranty.

I picked one with the same specs for <$500 from the outlet, but returned, because of the underperforming 960. The screen was beautiful, though.

How do we sort by IPS screen?

Good points and I needed to use the NT-H1 I picked up anyway. It's pretty sad when that's the first thing I need to do.. right?

I will give that a try before the repaste, but dell drivers are always so far behind.. there likely is nothing new.

My Alienware system (gtx 780m) runs so much hotter with the Nvidia vs. Dell drivers.
