Looks like grill prices are dropping.

Not as good as the Costco one for $399, but this is in stock for anyone that wants it.

They're basically the same. Get whichever one is cheaper. Unless you're in a big hurry, these should definitely get cheaper, and they will almost definitely be a clearance item at Sams, Costco, and elsewhere in the next couple months. I would wait at this price for sure.

Grilling season never ends. Rain, shine, or snow - these things will stay hot and produce great food!

Looks like you can select free expert assembly, too.

Highly recommend the expert assembly if you can. I got the K24 from Costco and that thing is HEAAAAAAAAAAAVY. I would think expert assembly would come with an extra person because I honestly don't think one person could lift that bottom half into the stand if they're assembled the same.

I would share my opinion on the grill but I haven't cooked with it yet.

The Vision Grills have a few more bells and whistles that make using this type of grill much easier. There's a vent valve that seals better than the Pit Boss as well as an opening to insert a fire starter into the grill itself.

Not sure about the Vision, but the build quality on the Pit Boss leaves much to be desired. Had it for a year, returned to Costco. Spent most of my cookouts tightening screws and bolts

I went ahead and grabbed one. FYI the earliest they could assemble it is on 8/11 so I chose a delivery date of 8/9. Includes 6 months no payments no interest on the amazon store card also. If prices come down between now and then I will just purchase again and then cancel. It's worth a few extra bucks to me not to have to worry about lugging it home and putting it together.

Another reason I grabbed it now is because they might remove the free assembly.

FYI, these don't come with a heat deflector, which isn't exactly optional. Make sure you pick one up if you get these.

Same price at home depot but quicker shipping if you don't mind assembling it.

If you are comparing this to the one that is often on special at Costco for less, keep in mind that Costco carries the 24" model. This is only 22".

You're right - my comment about them being the same was based on my old Vision, which I believe was exactly the same as this Pit Boss. This pit boss is sold under a bunch of different branch names that are basically identical. I see on Sams' website that the new visions look different and do appear to have some other bells and whistles. I still had good luck with my old vision and would definitely recommend either - just not at this price.

I bought a vision last year at Sam's for $399. I've been pretty happy with it overall. The foldable shelves aren't anything too special but I'm building a new patio this year and putting the ceramic part built into a grill station so wasn't a huge deal. I did break the upper vent because I dont think I had it install 100% properly. It popped out and broke. Vision customer service was great and sent me an upgraded version with a smoker knob at no charge. Only other complaint is that the lower vent could use a little tweaking to seal up better but not a huge deal. The ash tray is very handy. Wouldn't get one without it now.

Mine is the older style dimpled ceramic, not the diamond cut one. looks pretty much the same otherwise from playing with the newer one in store. lower vent is different. Not sure if its better really though.

Pit boss is lousianna grills. I have the 24" from costco online I paid $700 for last year and I love it. Got a nice gas grill around the same time (for about the same price), and have only used it 3-4 times. Heat deflector is a must if you want to smoke or make pizza. Use royal oak lump, and get a charcoal chimney. Used it last night for fajitas; using it again tonight for ribs. This is a great deal...
