A little rusty with the math? 300/50K = 0.6% over 2 month, so the APR is 3.6%. Not too bad for short term guaranteed return.

Don't forget the shitty 0.02% APY, at least here in fl. Doesn't even cover the taxes if applicable.

For anybody too lazy to get this deal, but has money, check out Ally Bank or Purepoint Financial. Savings rates both above 1%. I myself have an Ally Bank account.

Is it 2 months or 3 months?

I thought Chase with $15K and $300 was bad but now ...

Chase keeps sending me $200 offer. I might take up the $300 if they offer

Chase only offers $200 on saving account opening but another $300 on checking account opening with a bonus code.

The fine print says "This offer is only available to select Bank of America customers who receive this offer via a direct communication from Bank of America."

Has anyone successfully received the bonus who did not receive this offer as a "direct communication?

BOA is quite picky when giving such bonuses.. so if you haven't received the communication I would not recommend trying this.. I did receive this earlier today and might go with 20-50K tier

Bought more NFLX yesterday just before the close and been doubling down on NVDA for the past few weeks. Much better return than BofA's crummy $300. When I was a kid and moved to San Francisco I opened my first savings accounts with BofA. They were a reasonable and friendly neighborhood bank with roots dating back to the San Francisco 1906 Earthquake, that has since become something that I'm sure A.P. Giannini tossing and turning in his grave over. After remaining loyal to them for over 40 years I finally cut my ties to BofA and closed my accounts. They seemed to go out of their way, over and over, to prove to me the loyalty only flows in one direction. Not anymore it doesn't. I'll never put another nickel into BofA.

Thanks for the tip. Did you receive it as email, mail, or another form? I'm a BoA customer but I don't recall ever getting one of these (as opposed to Chase which I get every month, it seems).
