This is highly regarded as one of the best soundbars made...I have it and wow!!

Note, review might mention no DTS support, latest firmware adds full DTS 5.1 support.

Jet.com on sale for $766...crazy good price. Everywhere else about $1200.

I'm not going to claim victory until it arrives at my house, in one piece, but I was literally at checkout on bestbuy.com with the product in the cart when I saw this alert pop up.

If everything goes smoothly, you'll have saved me about $750!

Greatly appreciate your post!

Seems like a good option for price match with Best buy. I picked the LG SJ9 Atmos for $360 from Fry's deal, don't know if I should upgrade to this.Dont feel like returning my SJ9, but the surround sound option with this makes it compelling. Decisions decisions

heh, I was upgrading from a Vizio 5.1 setup too.

I'm moving the Vizio 5451 downstairs to the family room. I am, however, concerned about the sound width a bit, as the 54" soundbar is pretty wide, and the seating arrangement is really wide.

Reason for upgrade was no HDMI 2.0 pass-through and using an M70-C3 with only one HDMI 2.0 port.

I did grab the Sony HTNT5, and the rear speakers are pending pickup at the best buy store. I'm not satisfied except for the 4k pass-through. It just didn't feel like a worthwhile upgrade, in fact, with only speakers in two sides, it feels more like a downgrade, although I haven't plugged the rear speakers yet. I was going to leave the HTNT5 upstairs and put the WH-K950 upstairs.

There are 16 speakers total; 11 in the soundbar (3 for left, 3 for center, 3 for right, 1 for front left height, 1 for front right height), and 2 on each rear speaker (1 height speaker on each), plus the sub

Don't you have a wireless surround pack you can add for $120 or so? I'd be curious to hear how that sounds with the rear speakers. I listened to the SJ9 and the k850 and I preferred the SJ9 and nearly purchased it, but I hadn't researched enough in regards to the rear speakers

The rear speakers that LG has only supports SJ5Y and SJ4Y. For these only music flow speakers support the additional speakers. Unfortunately I hear LG stopped the music flow speakers.

When I was at Best Buy they were trying to sell me on that one instead of the SJ9 because they weren't a Magnolia store so they didn't carry it. The guy told me you could connect wireless speakers to it, and from what I researched it seemed one would be able to, but I wasn't 100% sure. It'd be something interesting to try, but I also read the rear speakers weren't that great either, at least in comparison with the k950's. But at half the cost, if they're better than discrete channels...

I have read that Best Buy doesnt' price match Jet.com and their website doesn't mention it as one of the online retailers they price match. Can anyone confirm?

The item doesn't even show as coming from jet, but rather "trusted partner" which makes me a bit concerned. Wonder who the trusted partner is, and whether they're authorized retailers or not?

I searched a lot and the Best buy guys have no clue if the wireless speakers support SJ9, they are just trying to sell it. LG SJ9 connects only to music flow enabled speakers.
