I don't know. It is just still so expensive. $329.99 is $53 more than the $277.03 it was on sale for 10 months ago! Maybe that's the wrong way to look at it, but those are the facts.

This is the phone I've been waiting for. My son got this back in 9/2016 for less than $300 https://slickdeals.net/f/9107155-64gb-zte-axon-7-unlocked-smartphone-ion-gold-277-free-shipping, so I've been waiting for a deal like that. This is the lowest I've seen since May. Time to pull the trigger?

I'm tempted as well, but with the Axon 8(?) announcement probably right around the corner and the fact that my OnePlus One still won't die, I'm holding off for now. If I needed a phone today, though, I'd jump on this. $30 more than a Moto G5 Plus (4/64 GB) is a no-brainer.

Good deal, I bought it for $419 on Amazon a month ago. One negative I don't like about the phone is, if you use a headset to listen to audio, the volume is extremely low even when the volume is maxed out. Other than that, the phone is great, the speakers are nice and loud with the dolby atmos. Only wish the atmos worked with the headphones.

The thought on SD was it was a price mistake.

This is my daily driver and my only complaint (beyond the weak camera) is that it's killed 2 microSD cards

My daughter got this one back in March, used for two weeks and it just died, no powering up at all. I sent it in with USPS confirmation, they messed up the receiving, took them a week to find the phone. I checked back with them three weeks later (I was on a trip so I didn't bother), they apologized and shipped a replacement overnight arrived the next day (from Texas to Minnesota).

So far so good, my daughter loves it. My wife has both an iPhone and Samsung S6, my daughter doesn't want neither. We did our research and wait for the sale on the Axon 7, it's very well designed. She loves the front stereo speakers, the fingerprint sensor in the back, and how responsive it is, fast charging with USB-C. She put the 64GB microSD from her old phone over and it works fine. Also, band12 for T-Mobile definitely has better signal than her friends' phones at school.

The camera is definitely a weak point, especially low light comparing to Samsung. Sometimes it gets stuck vibrating (perhaps faulty stabilization), just need a light tap on the phone to get back to normal.

I've also been waiting for this sale to replace my LG G2. It's still good with crDroid 7.1.2 but GPS is inconsistent and multitasking can be laggy. Pulled the trigger as soon as I see the deal posted. Repped. Though, we will have to mark/label our phones as they are of the same color, and will even have the same phone case :-(

I think wifi calling has to be integrated in the ROM by T-Mobile, so I don't think it's available. I see the setting "Wifi calling" on my daughter's but it's not enabled/active.

It has Volte and people have confirmed that it works, though, T-Mobile sometimes have problem with unlocked devices. There's some tricks around the net on how to make volte more consistent.
