Less than half the cost of the Xiaomi Vacuum but I would say about half the functionality and capability. If you going to spend $145 for this you might as well go big and spend $300 on the Xiaomi since both coming with no US support Stick Out Tongue

No I don't own either but I've been reading reviews of each and have been following what people who own the Xiaomi have been reporting and have watched videos of the Xiaomi's performance (laser distance sensor and route planning). Just throwing out my opinion on it. For $150 more you get a ton more tech and capability. If you're on a budget and don't mind the traditional random cleaning pattern then the Xiaomi wouldn't be in your consideration. Since both are being offered by gearbest with no US support the Xiaomi seems to be the more enticing value.

so you based your judgement on youtube videos. Do you think any of us care about what you think of videos?
There are Chinese vacuums with no warranty or support for $800 that provide that much more functionality theoretically. So?

I've purchased ILIFE products via eBay and have had a good experience with their products.

The V5S (I own one) is now relatively obsolete, but it still does a great job and replacement parts are readily available.

Just trying to start the discussion not saying I'm the final word but here's an example of a video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy96UDGe4dM

You can see the performance and he actually weighs the amount of debris the vacuum picks up.The point is that the Xiaomi and the iLife have no US warranty. Why not pay a little more (okay this is subjective, but you have to ask if this functionality is worth it to you but I think theres a strong argument that it is) for a ton more functionality if you're going with gearbest? The Xiaomi is $300 not $800. I don't get the hostility.

I bought the INLIFE [amazon.com]last time around at amazon, and for a basic robo floor kitty it does a OK job, it still gets stuck on certain things, but doesn't try to ram itself as hard as one of my old units I had when they 1st came out. Do I wish it had some sort of wireless map of my house I would program which areas to do each day or where not to go yes, but I don't think anyone has perfected these things yet..

I own a V5S and it works great.

Its loaded up with dust from the wood floors after each use. I never did get the daily schedules worked out, but I also invested almost no time in making sure I had it setup right. I usually just tap the button on the top of it if I'm leaving and it runs around the first floor of my house cleaning. It has no issues with any wood to rug or tile to wood transitions in my house. It will eat cords, phone chargers etc that are left loose and get tangled up easily. It also rarely finds its way back to the charger before the battery dies, but I also have a large area with multiple chopped up rooms.

I would 10/10 buy again. Its a bargain consider most other products are 200% of the price of this. I want one of the Samsung ones for my carpeted rooms upstairs.

Agreed, if you have hardwood/tile flooring, the V5S is amazing...

If you have carpeting, the A4S is the way to go...

These machines are in the 120-150 range, eventually the batteries will give out in 2-3 years, but still a way better value than some of the more prominent brands out there given they accomplish at least 80-90% of what the more "capable" machines can do...

I own A4S and it works pretty well with low carpets. It may work with mid carpets as well.
ILIFE is much more famous than other chinese brands in robotic vacuum cleaner field and price is decent.
