Horrible. Completely different from the previous models. Many people complain about the toe box being too narrow, but for me it was more the lack of support on the top of the toe box that made it too loose.

I got these to replace my 2 year old Glycerins. Free returns if they aren't right but at this price. I really want them to work. Thanks and repped.

I've run in Kayanos for a long time but I really did not like the 23s.

I love them compared to previous models but Iam sure your responses here will be all over the place. Yes, the toe box is ridiculously small compared to previous gens but I like it. It feels nice and snug sand works for me. The material is far better, breathes easier and the shoe feels a bit lighter....i alternate between ds trainers and these. No change in longevity....i still swap then it at 450 miles or so.
I've seen them cheaper in their more popular colors at Kelly's run warehouse in the last month.

A ridiculously small toebox seems like a pretty big fault to me...

I've been using the Neo 2's and now the Neo 4's. Every pair has failed at the toe top. It seems they just are not built very well there or maybe it is due to the toebox being too small. I'm wondering if I would have the same problems with this model.

I've been a kayano user ever since the 17s. I did like the new material feels space agey... lighter but more durable. I think it could use more cushioning up top but it's not a deal breaker. Would def recommend

I bought a pair. Figured I'd give them a shot. I just bought and returned a pair of Nike Air Max LW Motion from the deal on a different post. They were way too narrow. I have the 22's right now and they've helped my plantar fasciitis tremendously. I don't use them for running though, just walking all day long in a warehouse. I'm going to try out the GT 2000-4 as well.

I train and run marathons, and the gel-kayanos do not hold up at all. Only ever had a good few months out of them. Probably great as a normal shoe though.
