Just did a 1700 build, it's so impressive for a 65w processor.

Yes, they're new. I've purchased eight Ryzen CPUs from this seller.

AMD seal still intact? Heatsink never used? No marks anywhere. Just looking at the box, you can tell it's new. Plus, this seller has been selling Ryzen since release.

Just because they may sell refurb items in part of their store, doesn't mean they cannot sell new products also.

The seller is fine. The CPUs are great. Love what AMD is finally bringing for competition.

The ebay seller is called "refurbforless" - are these actually new-new? If there's any doubt, not sure how much of a deal this is

But what are you using to tell new from refurbished? Manufacturer refurbished chips will be repackaged and shrink wrapped like a retail unit no? They're not open box. Is there a way to look up serial numbers?

Also the item is listed as new, not refurbished. Based on their history and reviews, they don't appear to be some fly by night company trying to fleece people one ebay.

Trying to decide between a 1700x or a 1800x. I don't want to overclock so the 1800x is enticing, but the 1700x is so much better value.

Grr, was worried about that since they are in Yorba Linda. Frown Brings the 1800x to the same out the door price as from B&H.
