The one you posted is made of plastic this one is made of aluminum effectively working as a giant heatsink hence the huge price difference

I have this case its solid case/ heat sink well made. I overclocked my pi and it keeps it nice and cool.

I have this case and it's great. You can easily access all the ports and pull the SD card. The rubber feet on the bottom keep it in place. There's a part of the case that goes down and touches the main processor. They include thermal tape for heat transfer. You can easily tell a difference as the sides of the case will warm up with use. We'll worth the usual price and this is a great deal.

That's a lot of money for a rpi case.

Check out this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Protectiv...2370953710 [ebay.com] (unless of course you want a metal case).

looks like a nice case, but I question their advertising: "This is the first affordable Raspberry Pi case made out of aluminum" - I got this one for $8.99 last August...

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B011TVK75Q/ (no longer available)

And Amazon has many similar aluminium cases currently available.

But with Flirc the case itself functions as a heatsink from what I gathered. Don't have personal experience with it so I cannot confirm how good of a heatsink it performs in real life.

No doubt this offers more, I thought I would throw the plastic one out there as a nice non-metal alternative.

The flirc cases are specifically made to make contact with the CPU and disperse heat. The entire case acts as a heatsink. These other cases are simple cases that if anything only encloses the heat
